His sire, Padron, was born in the Nederlands in 1977 and elected Dutch national champion as a foal. At one year he was exported to the US, once there, Padron took the halter ring by storm, becoming a Triple-Crown winner, winning Scottsdale Senior Champion Stallion, Canadian National Champion Stallion and US National Champion Stallion in 1982. Padron was later written into the history books with the largest syndication for an Arabian stallion, at USD $11,000,000. He has also been proven in the breeding barn, siring over 60 US National winners.
His dam, Canila, was a golden-cross mare (double Shaker el Masri) born in germany in 1980. She has won a lot of halter championships, her biggest success were: European reserve champion in 1983, World champion and best mare in show in 1984 and european champion mare in 1985. From 1986 to 1989, she was leased to the USA by David and Bob Boggs and gave birth to a filly by Padron. She came back in foal to padron and in 1990 Europe's padron was born... She also gave birth to 2 national reserve champions and was awarded 2 stars for the success of her progeny in endurance.
